Lost & Found

Our new-new favorite story is this one from The New York Times about a man who tracked down an old friend thanks to an inscription in a book he bought used for $1. From the names, dates, or messages scrawled in them, to notes, photographs, and odds-and-ends tucked between their pages, there’s something endlessly wonderful about the physicality of books. We’ve found old polaroids, prom pictures, shopping lists, and love letters in our used book purchases. Do you have a favorite inscription or artifact that you’ve discovered? Share in the comments!
