Everyone’s still abuzz with the few leaked details about Stieg Larsson‘s fourth, unfinished novel in the Millennium Trilogy-in-an-Increasingly-Douglas-Adamsy-Sense. It’s set in Canada! It’s…okay, we know that it’s set in Canada. That’s something, anyway.
What we do know: the American version of the series’ first book, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, went through over 50 cover designs and multiple title changes. Check out this cool slideshow. We’re amazed at how, in such a short time, the chosen cover has come to seem so iconic. We can barely imagine the book being published with any of the rejected versions.
